In light of Climate Week NYC, Figure Eight hosted a series of events to raise awareness around businesses and organizations that are committed to accelerating climate action solutions.
As a sustainable and vegan luxury retail boutique, Figure Eight transformed the store into a community gathering place: a space where speakers, activists, and organizations can come together and spark meaningful conversation around sustainability and environmentalism.

Wednesday, September 22nd
Figure Eight hosted the Climate Leaders Reception sponsored by Hub Culture. The gathering was a networking event for the global climate community to connect and exchange thoughts on the latest issues affecting climate change. Guests enjoyed sustainable wines from Kendall-Jackson Winery and small bites by Chef Misha from The Health Warrior Project.
Thursday, September 23rd
In the morning, Figure Eight hosted Women Moving Markets, an intimate round-table discussion focused on empowering women and scaling climate solutions. Featured speakers included: Jaha Dukureh, Safe Hands for Girls; Julia Jackson, Grounded.org; Vasser Seydel, the Oxygen Project, Alissa Baier-Lentz, Kintra Fibers, and Katie Hoffman, Regeneration.VC.
In the afternoon, Figure Eight hosted Building the Solutions Movement: Accelerating Clean Technology sponsored by New Energy Nexus. This was a panel discussion spotlighting their newest partnership with Student Energy and showcasing its NYC Program, The Clean Fight. Together, they teamed up to showcase climate tech startups that are winning in New York.
